You recently launched fractional chief AI officer services because many companies struggle after AI training ends. Why do organizations find AI implementation so much harder than AI education?
[00:00:13] Jon Cheney:
Yeah, I think the main thing is most business leaders, the CEO, the CMO, the VP of sales, the head of whatever, they have their jobs already, right? And then they have this new AI thing just piled on top of them, and they know it's important. They tell everybody, "Hey, use AI."
But you really need someone in your organization, whether it's a Chief AI Officer or a Head of AI Implementation, whatever it is, you need someone whose sole job is to go in and say, "Okay, what are we doing? Where can AI really help, and is it being done?"
And then continually follow up.
I actually started my company just doing trainings, and I had companies keep coming back to me saying, "Hey, it was great, but people aren't really using it. Is there any way you can help us with this ongoing thing?"
And that is where the magic really unlocks — when you have somebody continually following up, continually checking on things, and making sure it's actually working.
